  1. Awesome dude. Feeling dead inside motivates so many to feel something, anything…and alcohol puts the "feels" on for sure, which most people think one drinks to numb, to not feel, but you hit the nail on the head- to quiet that brain,to loosen up…to live. That's why it has such a pull. Can't articulate how proud I am of you for what you have accomplished, also cannot stress enough how open my door is and how "on" my phone is if you need someone- one never hears that enough. Always here if you need…judgement free (shit you know I've got too much shit in my closet to even think about judging another…well, we all do, but I'm aware of it.)

  2. Thanks for being transparent Liam and congrats on your 1 yr sober!!! You've been through a lot this last year but remained sober. That's a big deal man!

I too struggled with the idea of calling myself an alcoholic. The first time I heard my friend tell her mom I was alcoholic (after she forgot I was sober and asked me if I wanted a drink) I felt a bit strange but in reality I am an addict.
